Coaching Authorization

This course is approved by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. It is a 55 Hour comprehensive coaching education course that, upon successful completion, will provide you with the essential knowledge and credentials to earn your coaching authorization license.  This is a hybrid class, 12 hours of face to face classroom and the additional online course work completed at your own pace.  At the completion of the course work two tests will be taken with an 80% or better pass rate to receive the Coaching Authorization Certificate.    Once our certificate is obtained you can complete your application for coaching authorization with the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, completing all background check forms and submitting all the required fees at www.boee.iowa.gov/licauthorization/coaching-authorization  **Indian Hills also offers CPR training** This course meets the coursework and CPR requirement for the state's coaching authorization application.  Please contact  Cathy Stahl, 641-683-5281, if you have any questions.  Class cost is $390.00.

Cosmetology Continuing Ed

Change brings on opportunity, opportunity to look at ourselves in a new way.' We will teach you the newest techniques in color and cuts on makeover participants directly from the audience.  You will see how new creative techniques can apply to your everyday client. We all love to see the before and after, we can all make a difference!  Don't miss out and you may be eligible for the makeover! If you would like to be in the running for a makeover contact Stacy via email with photos. Stacy will also be including motivation in her program to have us living a better life and making an impact on our clients. Each class will require a minimum enrollment of 30 students or the class will be cancelled.

Cosmetology Law and Sanitation

Early Childhood Educator Symposium

This annual Symposium will include a variety of classes early childhood educators may choose from to enhance their knowledge based on their specific needs and preferences. Classes will range in topics pertinent from newborn to school age children and for educators who work in home based facilities, community centers or schools. Sessions will provide participants with DHS credits.

ServSafe

ServSafe Course/Testing is designated for foodservice owners, operators, managers and supervisors in order to achieve certification on food safety mandates and requirements. Materials have been developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The course fee includes the current edition of ServSafe Essentials, course materials and test. It is mandatory that you pick up the book prior to the class taking place. It is also recommended that you bring your lunch to this class.
