The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course is an interactive training program that teaches construction workers and supervisors how to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The course covers topics such as: Personal protective equipment and lifesaving equipment Health hazards in construction Stairways and ladders Bloodborne pathogens Concrete and masonry construction Confined spaces in construction Cranes, derricks, hoists, elevators, and conveyors Basic ergonomics   The course's objectives include: Identifying common workplace hazards Following OSHA General Industry standards Recommending strategies for preventing and correcting hazards and violations Recognizing the role of management and the workforce in improving safety culture
