Course Description: 

This course will enable participants to think critically and write analytically about the principles, practices, and problems of human resource administration in government. Participants will explore key areas including human resource management, equal employment opportunity, job analysis and staffing, compensation, training and development, and employee and labor relations, while developing critical thinking and analytical skills in public administration.

 

Micro-credential students will participate alongside degree-seeking students and are expected to actively engage in all course activities and assessments. The course is graded on a pass/fail basis, and earned micro-credentials may be applied toward academic credit if you later enroll in a Governors State degree program.
