Course Detail: LLPSYLV - Explore Sylvan Heights Bird Park
Opened in 2006, Sylvan Heights is the premier Bird Park and Avian Breeding Center in the state. Through our guided tour of the bird park, discover the fascinating world of birds with over 200 species of exotic ducks, geese, swans, parrots, pheasants, cranes, flamingos and more! Learn about unique adaptations, biology, and behaviors of the over 2,000 birds housed within the park. View eastern North Carolina's native wildlife and wetlands from a new perspective atop the scenic Bird's Nest tree house, which overlooks the wetlands. Finally, enjoy the unique opportunity to feed the parakeets and flamingos in the "Landing Zone.
