Course Detail: LLPNEWAG - What's New in Aging? Aging Never Gets Old!

Like a fine wine, Pitt County is a great place to age well. The Council on Aging (COA) is the largest non-profit in Pitt County that solely works to serve the older adult population with a wide range of programs and services. The COA is one of the area's best-kept secrets having been selected as North Carolina's Senior Center of the Year in 2021. The COA was also the recipient of the Ernest Messer award presented by the State of North Carolina's Department of Adult and Aging Service for excellence. This informative class is for people of all ages just not older adults. Participants will learn how they can serve and be served by this vibrant and thriving aging agency. From home-delivered meals, also known as Meals on Wheels, to Medicare counseling to trips around the world, the COA has something for everyone. Come and see why over 800 people a week are visiting this rockin' place.
