Micro Course Detail: LDEM120 - Conflict Management

Not all conflict is bad. Conflict can be constructive and even productive, which can result in positive changes for an organization. This micro course will help you develop an understanding of the five approaches to conflict and will guide you through how to effectively resolve conflict in order to build healthy organizations. You will identify your personal conflict resolution style and uncover how to recognize others' conflict resolution styles, so that you can have effective conversations, even in the presence of conflict. Finally, you will develop your own personal conflict resolution toolkit that you can apply immediately in your workplace to help your team move toward organizational success. After successfully completing this micro course, you'll be able to:1) Analyze the key practical concepts of conflict management and resolution; 2) Assess your own conflict management style and develop the ability to identify others' conflict management styles; and 3) Examine and apply conflict resolution approaches.
