T&L 2900: VIR: Google Classroom and Collaborative Tools to Support Online Learning

This course, taught by an authorized Google Education Trainer, will give participants a chance to explore and test Google Classroom and its many functionalities. Participants will collaborate and complete assignments in Google Classroom, and will have the opportunity to set up their own online classrooms to experiment and learn how it works. Teachers will understand and investigate the latest updates to Google Classroom and critically review them. They will share their reviews and provide feedback to their peers via Google Classroom and Google+ Communities. In addition, the class will briefly focus on how to create Google+ communities. Teachers can use Google+ communities to collaborate with peers as well as a private forum where students can collaborate, display work, and comment. Participants meet virtually via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
