T&L 2900: West Fargo ND Counts Essentials of Math Instruction

This course helps middle grades teachers strengthen math instruction through clear, explicit teaching and high-quality instructional materials (HQIM). Teachers will explore how math concepts build across grade levels and plan lessons that develop students' problem-solving skills.

Participants will learn to use student discussions, written work, and assessments to guide instruction. They will also plan supports that meet different learning needs while maintaining grade-level expectations. Throughout the course, teachers will reflect on their practice and identify practical next steps to support student success in math.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
