T&L 2900: Freshman 101: Building Skills for Success

In this collaborative professional development course, participants will work together to research and identify common skill deficits that freshmen often face, which can hinder their academic success in high school. Through research, reflection, and discussion, educators will develop a clear understanding of the areas where students need the most support. Once these areas are identified, participants will establish a set of "non-negotiables" for high school success-essential skills and behaviors all freshmen must be proficient in.
