Educators that participate in this course will gain a deeper understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards framework and how to leverage inquiry, science and engineering practices, and crosscutting concepts to captivate learners in their classrooms. During each professional learning event, educators will have time and instructional coaching support to modify or develop a lesson that highlights that day's topic (inquiry and engagement, science and engineering practices, or crosscutting concepts). Educators will then implement the lessons and engage in instructional coaching cycles.
