T&L 2900: Choral, Band, and Orchestra: Educators in Action
Participants will have the opportunity to explore music and performing skills outside of the traditional classroom. This could be done in a variety of ways including ensemble performances, solo work, private studio recitals, working with guest conductors, creating publicity for a music event, researching musical pieces, etc. Participants will be responsible for logging their own hours and creating a digital portfolio of learning experiences (concert recordings, rehearsal schedules, etc.).
Participants' final projects will demonstrate how they connected their personal learning to their day-to-day classroom instruction and students' learning. Final projects will be created by participants and will be authentic to their own experiences.
