T&L 2900: Scranton Public School (Book Study)

The Book study is offered to the teaching staff at Scranton Public School. The course is set up through Microsoft Teams. Through chapter readings and weekly journal participation on Microsoft Teams, the teaching staff will read and study a Marsha Tate book from the following selections: Worksheets Don't Grow Dendrites, Sit and Get Won't Grow Dendrites, Shouting Won't Grow Dendrites, Mathematics Worksheets Don't Grow Dendrites, Reading and Language Arts Worksheet Don't Grow Dendrites. This book study is designed to assist teachers on best practices in instructional strategies and student engagement.

Important Notice: Please do not submit payment on your own for this credit offering. Upon checkout, please select the "Mail a Check" option and submit your order without payment. After submitting your registration, you will receive two order confirmation emails:

  • Generic confirmation email, and
  • Detailed invoice/receipt email

(Allow up to 60 minutes for the detailed invoice/receipt to generate.) Once you receive the detailed invoice, please forward it to the Instructor of Record (IOR).

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
