Introduction to OSHA (R)

Welcome to the Introduction to OSHA course. This self-paced course will introduce you to the development, organization, and major functions of OSHA. This course will discuss: The guiding principles of OSHA, How OSHA develops and carries out the inspection process, The rights of the employer and employee during the inspection and regarding OSHA citations, OSHA and OSHA sponsored training and compliance assistance programs. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: Demonstrate knowledge of the principle practices of OSHA and employer and employee rights during the inspection process by successfully completing lesson quizzes and example exercises. In addition, this course will prepare students for future course work required by the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program.
