What kind of programs does OTIDE offer?

Our programming is diverse and caters to a wide range of audiences, from high school students, to working professionals, to mature adults. We seek to provide meaningful educational experiences across the lifespan, and there is truly something for everyone!

What kind of programming does the Office of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning offer?

Through a variety of annual conferences and workshops, professionals are able to continue their education by engaging in in-person and online learning opportunities in a variety of discipline areas, including health and human services, education, leadership and management, municipal programs, finance and taxation, to name a few.

What is OLLI?

OLLI is a year-round, member-centered, member-led, program catering to mature adults. Member participation and volunteerism are the fuels for the success of OLLI at UA. This academic cooperative provides opportunities to learn new things, make friends, travel, and embrace life.

What kind of programming does UA SafeState offer?

UA SafeState offers an array of professional safety, health, and environmental educational opportunities either in-person, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), or online through our training section including the OSHA Training Institute - Education Center.

How do I register myself or a group for a program or event?

You can register yourself for a program or event online once you have created an account in our customer portal. If you wish to register multiple people at the same time, please call Registration Services at 205-348-3000. Please note, we do not retain credit card information so you will need to enter your payment information each time you register for a program or event.

How do I partner with OTIDE as a sponsor or exhibitor?

You can find information related to sponsoring or exhibiting at a specific event or conference by visiting the program website. If you need help finding what you are looking for, email collegerelations@ua.edu.

How do I register for Insurance Testing?

Insurance testing must be registered for online by the tester. You can find test dates and register here. For more information, visit our website or give us a call at 205-348-0633.

How will I receive important information related to my program or event?

You will receive a confirmation email upon registration and a reminder email closer to the program/event start date. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder and be sure to add registration_services@ua.edu to your safe sender list to ensure important information reaches your inbox. If you are registered for a virtual program/event, you will receive the link and log in information 2-3 business days in advance of your program/event.

Where can I go to view my current registrations/invoice information/my transcript?

You can view all information related to your current registrations, invoice information and your transcript by logging into your customer portal account. If you need assistance logging in, please call Registration Services at 205-348-3000.

How do I get to the Bryant Conference Center?

The Paul W. Bryant Conference Center is located at 240 Paul W. Bryant Dr East in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, just across the street from Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Driving directions can be accessed here.

Where do I park at the Bryant Conference Center?

Parking information and passes for customers attending a program or event will be emailed prior to the program/event start date. Guest parking information for visitors who are not a attending a registered program/event can be found here.
