A one-day refresher course to update participants in adult and child lead toxicology, sources of lead, theory and use of X-ray fluorescence, sampling methods for lead in paint, soil and dust, health and safety concerns for lead hazard inspectors, regulatorydevelopments and HUD's Guidelines for the Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing.

This one-day course is intended for renovation, repair and painting contractors who want to comply with EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule and HUD's Lead Safe Housing Rule. Upon completion of this course, you will be trained as a certified renovator and you will be able to train your employees inlead-based paint safe work practices.
