Course Detail: WTCS300 - SolidWorks Essentials

This 48-hour course, meets twice a week over an eight-week period.

As a result of this course students will be able to Create 3D engineering drawings and assemblies using sketch and modeling tools; calculate and modify parametric features and equations; and demonstrate skills required to pass the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam.


This course qualifies students for a certificate of achievement and prepares students to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students will qualify for entry-level positions, 3D Printer Machine Operator, 3D Printer Assistant, SolidWorks Designer, 3D Modeling Specialist, Mechanical Designer, CAD Technician, CAD Drafter, and CAD Designer.
