Course Detail: WTMB100 - Basic Computer Skills I: Using the Computer and Internet

This 38.5-hour course meets two days a week over a 7-week period. As a result of this training students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in using a computer including software, hardware, email, and the internet; and demonstrate progress in keyboarding skills. 

This course is one of three, in the Basic Technology Certificate program. Upon successful completion of the certificate, students may qualify for entry-level positions.

Schedule: This course meets every Tuesday from 1:00pm-4:00pm and Thursday from 1:00pm-3:30pm at the Construction Trades Building, room 018E at the Redwood campus. May 27, 2025 to July 10, 2025. No class on July 3 due to the College's observation of July 4.
