Course Detail: WTEC100 - IPC 610 Certification

The IPC 610 Certification course prepares students to obtain their recertification. As a result of this training, students will be able to discuss the purpose, contents, specifications, and terms contained within the IPC 610 specification; demonstrate proper handling, ESD requirements, cleanliness, and acceptable mechanical assembly requirements; identify the requirements for soldering assemblies, the acceptability requirements for high voltage and terminal connections, and requirements for component installation; recognize the requirements for surface mount assemblies.

Schedule:

This 30 hour class runs from September 22, 2025 through September 25, 2025. Students will attend class on the first day and then work with instructor to schedule lab times. Office Hours: M-TH 7:00-1:00pm, 3:00-9:00pm
