This two-hour in-person lab provides emissions participants with instruction on operating and maintaining the Applus+ Utah 2011 Emission Analyzer System and accurately transmitting data to the Salt Lake County Health Department. As a result of this training participants will be able to operate standard vehicle emissions-testing equipment to perform consistent, uniform inspections; perform routine calibrations, periodic checks, and maintenance procedures per the equipment manufacturer's recommendations and according to requirements; and transmit all data collected during checks/tests to program Vehicle Information Database (VID).
