Protection devices, DC/AC theory, capacitance, inductance, motor, transformer & generator theory. Voltage drop, wire sizing and basic grounding methodologies.

The meter apprentice program is designed to provide related technical instruction for participants currently employed as apprentice meter technicians in the electric power industry. This course is the first in a series of eight courses and covers the topics of atomic structure, electrical qualities, watt-hour meters, resistors, high voltage AC power, series, parallel and combination circuits.?
