Aerospace Assembly Foundations Composites

This 24-hour onboarding class teaches new-hires the basics of advanced composites hand lay-up for manufacturing aerospace parts with both dry and pre-impregnated fibers. Students can participate in this course either as incumbent new-hires or as pre-employment composite technicians.

Aerospace Assembly Foundations Metals

Participants are introduced to the aerospace assembly process and build skills in shop safety, basic math, blueprint reading, drilling, reaming, countersinking, measuring, and solid rivet installation. This course focuses on the assembly of aluminum components using solid rivet fasteners.

Blueprint Reading for Aerospace

This course will meet over two days for eight hours each. Participants will learn how to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics. The course will also cover some related math principles and measuring tools.

NC3 Structural Sheet Metal Assembly

This eight-day course provides participants with the theories, principles, and concepts of structural sheet metal assembly and related metal terminology. Participants will learn how to identify proper layout procedures and demonstrate correct techniques for drilling, countersinking, riveting, and other fastening methods used in aerospace applications.
