The IPC 610 Certification course prepares students to obtain their recertification. As a result of this training, students will be able to discuss the purpose, contents, specifications, and terms contained within the IPC 610 specification; demonstrate proper handling, ESD requirements, cleanliness, and acceptable mechanical assembly requirements; identify the requirements for soldering assemblies, the acceptability requirements for high voltage and terminal connections, and requirements for component installation; recognize the requirements for surface mount assemblies.
