Course Detail: WTAU140 - Motors & VFD Systems
This 27-hour course teaches students basic motor theory, operation and safety. In addition, students will learn Allen Bradley VFD operation and safety. As a result of this course, students will be able to identify the four basic motor types, practice safety when using electric motors, wire delta & Y motors with both high and low voltage, build and test a motor control seal-in circuit, and create the required documents that allow a VFD to properly drive a motor.
