This 40-hour course meets over a one-week period. As a result of this training, students will be able to apply safe practices for welding and cutting operations, explain core welding principles and process fundamentals, operate welding and cutting equipment correctly and safely, demonstrate proficient SMAW techniques using common electrodes, and evaluate weld quality and structural integrity to AWS standards.
