Course Detail: WTOT200 - Operator to Technician Transition - Electrical

This 40-hour course meets over a one-week period. As a result of this training students will learn the skills necessary to begin work as an electrical-focused technician. Students will gain skills to start as electrical-focused technicians, including calculating basic electrical circuit behavior; using circuit simulators; measuring DC and AC resistance, voltage, and current; assessing and applying electrical device ratings; and demonstrating safe wiring and grounding practices
