This 60-hour course meets twice a week (for 2 hours each class day) for 15 weeks. Class will be held via live webinar in the evening. As a result of this training, participants will be able to demonstrate a theoretical understanding and manipulative facility of limits, derivatives, integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus; communicate mathematics both orally and in writing, which includes proving mathematical theorems; mathematically model phenomena using average rates of change, derivatives and integrals; demonstrate calculus notation and theorems; reflect on calculus concepts in the secondary special education math classroom and the development of IEPs.
