This 3-hour course meets on one day, in-person. The course takes place at SLCC's RTU Lab. At the end of this training students will be able to identify current RTU best practices to make better informed decisions in selection, installation, and operation of commercial property rooftop units, and identify utility company incentives to maximize profits using RTU's. Students will also be able to discuss an overview of economizers, supply fan VFD, demand control ventilation, a review of installation and controls, business case, and Utah-specific utility incentives.
