Course Detail: WTEL001 - Dark Skies for Electricians - 4 hours

This 4-hour course is presented via Zoom in a webinar format. The State of Utah has more Dark Sky designated places than anywhere else in the United States. As a result of this course students will be able to describe the benefits, specification, and installation of dark sky friendly fixtures, and identify and comply with municipal dark sky city codes and ordinances. Because this a Zoom-only class, DOPL rules require that each student is visible on webcam throughout the length of the class.


This course meets DOPL requirements for 4 professional hours for electricians.
