This 45-hour course meets for 8 weeks, 3 hours per week, and includes 24 hours of online coursework. As a result of this training students will be able to perform the steps involved in energy simulation of commercial buildings and generate energy simulation reports and output files; discuss integrated energy design for commercial buildings; use modeling software to evaluate building envelope, window, and daylighting information; develop building schedule and load and energy use profiles; and calculate savings for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) using energy simulation techniques.
