Course Detail: WTBN270 - Building Automation Systems Networking

This 20-hour course covers concepts of data transmission in various media types as it applies to building automation systems. Topics include open-source networking protocols, hierarchy and operation of LON and BACnet. Participants will compare and contrast the two networks.

This course is one of two in the Building Automation Systems Level 2 Microcredential program. Upon successful completion of the microcredential, participants may qualify for entry-level positions, including Control Systems Technician, Facilities Manager, Building Commissioning Agent, and Building Operator.
