Program Detail: PRETONBOARDCERT - Pretium Onboarding Workforce Microcredential
This 80-hour course meets over a two-week period. As a result of this training participants will be able to review the functions of the primary components of different types of molding machines and molds; infer the relationship between pressure and speed and how plastic flow rates affect material flow-ability; explain the basic components, functions, and terminology of injection molding machines and molds; explain the basic concepts behind part and mold design; demonstrate mold protection procedures; and demonstrate basic math for molders.
