This 40-hour course runs over a 5-day period or 10-half-day periods blending theory and hands-on labs. As a result of this training, students will be able to Assemble square tubing and sheet metal cabinets according to company specifications perform accurate torquing, marking, riveting and wiring tasks; safely handle and install batteries, fans, louvers and fire suppression systems; demonstrate shop safety practices and proper use of PPE; produce consistent, high-quality assemblies and contribute to continuous improvement; and describe proper high-voltage battery safety, risks and proper PPE.
