Program Detail: LIGHTENERGYCERT - Energy Efficient Lighting Workforce Microcredential
The 60-hour Energy Efficient Lighting program addresses the competencies outlined by the Illuminating Engineering Society and covers basic core knowledge and skills required for entry-level positions and is aligned with national industry-recognized standards. Participants completing this microcredential will be able to evaluate an existing lighting system and prepare an audit report and analyze the data gathered including illuminance calculations. Successful completion of this program qualifies participants for the Energy Efficient Lighting Microcredential. Participants can qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) through the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
