Workshop Description:
Join us on-line as we explore compassionate ways to create a sense of peace, comfort and calm within ourselves and with those around us during one of the most emotional and sacred times of our lives. Objectives:
Increased self-compassion through slowing down and recognition of unique lived experiences
Understanding how one's energetic presence affects those around them
Recognition of sympathetic resonance and entrainment in physical and emotional responses
Discernment of comforting and calming tools such as breathing techniques, music, and essential oils
Use of comfort medications such as Morphine, Lorazepam and Levsin to promote physical comfort thereby enhancing effects of modalities that promote spiritual and emotional well-being.
Use of positioning and comforting touch to enhance peace and rest at end of life.
Information for caregivers regarding physical changes they may see at end of life, which could ease caregiver stress.
