Rxplorers is an initiative created and supported by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Pharmacy. The program engages middle school students who have an interest in S.T.E.M. related fields to gain exposure to pharmacy as a career in the healthcare arena. In collaboration with champion middle schools, you can apply concepts learned in class and, alongside current pharmacy students, interpret and illustrate the application to pharmacy. The curriculum is developed to apply middle school level coursework and skills in Life Sciences, Health, Critical Reasoning, and Math. This active, hands-on program provided by SIUE School of Pharmacy is designed as a half-day (5 hour) camp for a maximum of 30 students.
