Course Detail: SWKE - Reflective Practice: Supporting Others with Curiosity and Connection

This training introduces Reflective Practice as a supportive supervision approach for clinical staff. Participants will learn how reflective questions, attuned listening, and curiosity can help someone process their work, strengthen self-awareness, improve clinical decision-making, and sustain resilience.

Specific learning objectives: By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  1. Define reflective practice in clinical settings.
  2. Identify ways reflective practice supports self-awareness and decision-making.
  3. Use reflective questions to support growth and resilience.



SIUE is an approved CEU provider by the State of Illinois for social work continuing education. If you are licensed/certified in any other state or province, please refer to the regulations in that state or province or the national board requirements to determine whether this will qualify for CEU credits.
