This course emphasizes design and model interrogation of products based on 3-D solid feature-based modeling using CATIA V5. It covers sketching (using 2-D curves to create 3-D models), various modeling and interrogation and analysis methods, and introductory assembly modeling and drafting with 3-D models. Different geometric modeling methods and the impact of 3-D solid models on manufacturing will be briefly discussed.

This workshop will provide didactic instruction, collaborative dialogue about participants' current practices and experiences working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and applied opportunities to practice evidence-based assessment competencies. SIUE SON continues its pioneering advancement of the nursing profession across Illinois with its receipt of a competitive four-year $2.75 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HHRSA) for its innovative Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) program. The multi-faceted educational effort is creatively designed to increase the number of nurse practitioners who practice in rural and underserved communities throughout Illinois, by promoting a smooth and natural transition from the student role to practicing Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) into these areas. 10 CE credits will be awarded.
