An unforgettable summer experience for students in grades K-8!
Join us for Cougar Theater Camp, a two-week adventure in the performing arts! Campers will receive hands-on training in acting, music, and dance while learning to create props and bring a production to life. Under the guidance of Ashley Miller-Melton, an SIUE alumna and the Director of Edwardsville High School Drama Department, participants will work with a team of five experienced teachers and eight enthusiastic counselors to explore every aspect of theater.
The camp culminates in a magical weekend of Disney's Finding Nemo performances on stage, complete with costumes, scenery, lighting, and all the elements of a professional production. Each camper will experience the thrill of performing live in front of an audience, showcasing their creativity and hard work.
Camp Highlights:
- Over 80 hours of personalized instruction
- Daily activities in acting, music, dance, and prop-making
- A Cougar Theater Camp t-shirt
