Course Detail: ARD1 - Arduino Workshop

The Arduino Workshop is a one-day workshop designed for high school students who are interested in programming and computer applications, including robotics. Arduino's are small microcontrollers that can be used to turn some type of input, such as sensor data, and turn it into output, such as turning on an LED light or activating a motor. In this workshop, students will learn about the different electronic components commonly used in STEM careers, and they will also learn about the code that brings those components to life. The workshop culminates with an Arduino project, and students keep the Arduino kit at the end of the workshop so that they may continue to explore.
