At the Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA), we will work on the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to be a successful entrepreneur. Students participating in the SEA will be placed in teams and challenged to find an innovative idea to build a business plan and pitch. Participants will spend their mornings learning business skills necessary to successfully launch a business. In the afternoon, teams will work on strengthening their teamwork and putting in to practice the skills taught in the morning. The week-long experience will end with a pitch competition to a panel of local business owners and entrepreneurship experts.
