PreCollege: Introduction to the Graphic Novel Workshop
Passionate about storytelling through images and words? Join our Introduction to the Graphic Novel Workshop at Pratt Institute, where you'll explore the fascinating world of graphic novels as both a reader and a creator! Led by Pratt faculty member, Sofi Thanhauser, this 3-hour workshop leaves students with copies of their original comic, beautifully crafted into zines to share and trade with friends and classmates.
What to Expect:
This workshop will provide students with an introduction to the graphic novel as both readers and creators of the genre. It will offer some history of the form, an opportunity to read and discuss work in the genre, and a chance for students to make, produce, and distribute their own comics and image/text work.
