No image available Biography: EDUCATIONGraduate of the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) with degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering, and holds a Masters in City Planning from MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning. BIOGRAPHYRicardo Martínez Campos serves as the Acting Director of the NYC Mayor's Office to Protect Tenants where he leads all major projects of the Office and sets the strategic direction and policy priorities for the Office.Prior to working at the Mayor's Office, Ricardo served as Senior Project Manager at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, where he envisioned, developed and coordinated data initiatives to inform tenant protection programs and policies across the City. Ricardo worked on the Zombie Homes Initiatives and Partners in Preservation, both aimed to preserve New York City neighborhoods and protect tenants from harassment. Prior to joining the NYC government, Ricardo conducted research at the MIT-Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University, and consulted for multiple local city-governments and federal institutions in Mexico100. Ricardo also serves as an advisor for local city governments in Mexico and Latin America. Ricardo believes that data-driven strategies can help streamline bureaucracies and better serve constituents. He gets pride in being from Mexico and part of the LGBTQ community.
