Preparatory Interior Design Foundation

This noncredit summer course is a preparatory course for students (without previous fine art or design experience) entering into Pratt's Graduate Interior Design Foundation's Year in the fall. The class introduces fundamentals of art and design through a series of exercises that develop basic analog and digital skills used in the process of designing and documenting the built environment. The class will address the ability to visualize and communication both 2D and 3D formats, using a variety of media and tools common to the practice. Offered in the summer only. This course is offered asynchronously, based on two sessions per week for 5 weeks.
