Create your own DIY video from storyboarding to performance score, costumes, props, improvisation, music/sound, editing and credits. Tell your own story with all its grandeur and grit, using simple means. Draw inspiration from transgressive video art/Avant-garde films. Discuss content, symbolism, relationship to history/zeitgeist/social movements, visual strategies, including settings, costuming, lighting, natural elements, and special effects. *This online course will be a results-oriented creative think tank to guide that new video work. Making it happen, sharing developing work weekly, and productive critique is the thrust, all experience levels welcome, basics of video editing not included.
