Design for Health and Wellness II

This course serves as the next continuation to the level 1 course of the same title, to make the quality of life of diverse audiences central in design. Continue to investigate ways to assess and enhance private, commercial, and public spaces while examining the relationships between the environment, physical & psychological conditions for health, behavior theories, spatial design, industry standards and best practices. Students will continue to develop or refine basic prototypes and complete a research-based design proposal for health and wellness in response to a specific design challenge. This course serves as the second prerequisite course in the Design for Health & Wellness certificate program that is comprised of 6 core required courses.
