This intensive course provides an introduction to the fundamental issues and opportunities of interior design through hands-on studio work, lectures, discussions, and critiques. Students will be introduced to basic design skills and critical thinking, emphasizing the relationship of the human body to space and materials. Students then will explore the resolution of basic interior design problems using the principles of color, form, light, texture, scale, and proportion.
