Pratt Campus Experience: Embroidery
Overview: Engage prospective students through an immersive, hands-on experience at Pratt Institute. During their campus visit, students will explore the campus through a guided tour and participate in a short-form workshop (3 hours) led by a Pratt instructor. Each student will create and leave with a tangible item-such as sketches, a risograph print, or an embroidered baseball hat-offering a memorable and creative introduction to the Pratt experience.
Embroidery: Students learn the basics of embroidery including needle type and simple stitching techniques including backstitch, chain stitch, running stitch, and French knot. Students will become familiar with these techniques and leave with a baseball hat embroidered with a motif of their choice.
