RHINO: Computer Aided Design and 3-D
This course is designed for the computer-aided design (CAD) novice. Through a series of hands-on exercises and projects, students will experience fundamental digital tools suitable for the design, modeling, rendering, and production of small jewelry items. While assignments will center around jewelry design, the skills learned are transferable and can be applied towards designing, modeling and rendering other items.
Rhino 8 license is not included in this course. Students can download the free 90-day evaluation license from this page https://www.rhino3d.com/download/
Please note, this class is taught on the Windows version of Rhino 8 and it is recommended to use the Windows computer. Students choosing to use a Mac version will notice some differences and customizations between the platforms and should be aware that specific Rhino for Mac settings are not covered in this class.
