Photographic Composition

Analyze the challenges and potential solutions involved in photographical composition. Investigate how photographers say what they say based primarily on ideas suggested in the seminal writing on photography, John Szarkowski's The Photographer's Eye. Through regular shooting assignments that deal with the principles of photographic vision and composition, you will learn how to formulate, strengthen, and translate an idea into the visual form of a photograph.
