Biography: Lisa Zaynab Killinger, DC is a Professor serving as the Chair of Diagnosis and Radiology at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1983. She was the first chiropractor hired, in a chiropractic capacity, by the US Government when she worked in 1999 as a consultant to HRSA (the US Health Resources and Services Administration's) Chiropractic Program. She also directed and co-directed numerous HRSA grants and contracts on the topic of Geriatrics, Interdisciplinary Care, and Chiropractic Education. She has served numerous elected positions in the American Public Health Association's Chiropractic Health Care Section, including two terms as Section Chair.
Dr. Killinger has authored and co-authored seven book chapters and has published 27 peer-reviewed and another 33 scientific articles in professional journals, and has made over 130 presentations at scientific and educational conferences. She teaches Healthy Aging, Gender-Related Health, Case-Study Writing, and Chiropractic Technique courses at Palmer College and does continuing education seminars and presentations for students, educators, and health professional around the world.
